Prior experience
Laptenok has over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience. Before becoming a VC, he co-founded the venture builder Genesis, which develops global tech businesses born in CEE.
He launched and operated various online businesses, including the most popular news and entertainment websites and apps in Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.
In 2017, he co-founded BetterMe, the fastest-growing health and fitness app in the world.
Personal
Together with his partners, Laptenok runs the Legit cafe in central Kyiv.
Among other hobbies, he enjoys wilderness travel with his family and extreme water sports.
